A high-level audience of professionals from screen and digital printing as well as large format and textile printing will be gathering at the RAI Amsterdam exhibition and convention centre in March 2024. In Hall 1, Stand A72, Sappi will be presenting an exclusive selection of its high-quality paper range for a variety of applications.

Claudia Pöckl, Marketing Communications Specialist at Sappi Europe, explains Sappi’s exhibition motto:

“We opted for the theme "Meet the experts - Come in and level up", an open invitation to visitors to ask their questions, receive technical support and to discuss new projects with us that will help them move forward. Dye Sublimation papers for maximum precision in digital transfer printing

Dye Sublimation Papers

Sappi offers a wide range of dye sublimation papers covering all end applications. The papers are especially designed to ensure high dimensional stability, quick ink drying, uniform ink transfer with minimal ink consumption and short transfer times. A variety of samples and sublimated products of fashion textiles, sportswear, home textile, soft signage, promotional items and hard substrate will be on display for visitors at FESPA.

Sappi guarantees the high quality of its sublimation papers by regularly expanding and modernising its state-of-the-art technology. Last year, for example, the paper manufacturer invested in two new paper converting machines combined with a new and fully automated packaging line specifically for dye sublimation papers at its Carmignano plant in Italy. Start-up of this high-tech equipment is planned for April this year. These new assets will support a significant growth of capacity combined with increased flexibility of the internal process, allowing to offer even more appropriate solutions and respond to the further increasing market demand.

Release liners as carrier paper for self-adhesive applications

Self-adhesive applications are on the rise in our everyday lives – be it for visual communication, adhesive tapes of all kinds, self-adhesive labels or composite materials.

Self-adhesive Label & Release Liners

Silicone base papers are used as release liners resp. as a carrier material for many self-adhesive applications. And Sappi has more than 50 years of direct product experience in this field. At FESPA, Sappi will be presenting its CCK papers with outstanding lay-flat properties as well as its glassine papers. Both products boast excellent siliconisation properties, which ensure ideal separation between the release liner and the respective self-adhesive material on the front side.

A small yet impressive selection of packaging samples

As in the previous year, Sappi will also be bringing a fine collection of packaging samples to FESPA. Sappi’s high-quality virgin fibre Fusion liner papers for corrugated boards and Algro paperboards for premium packaging applicationsfeature excellent printing and visual properties. As a result, they stand out on the shelf and ensure a unique brand differentiation.

Claudia Pöckl explains:

Claudia Pöckl

“Visitors at trade fairs greatly benefit from both the visual and tactile experiences. By not only seeing our papers but also touching them, they can directly grasp their high quality.”
