Sappi, a leading global provider of packaging and speciality papers, is taking part in the AWA (Alexander Watson Associates) Global Release Liner Industry Conference & Exhibition 2024, which will be held in Amsterdam between 20 and 22 March 2024. In line with the conference theme, Sappi will be showcasing a selection of its innovative products at its exhibition stand and share insight on the development and potential of release liners with participants. As in previous years, Sappi will once again be a main conference sponsor.
The AWA conference is the only international event dedicated to the release liner industry. It serves as an annual meeting point for the sector’s professionals to exchange ideas, stay informed on market developments and industry challenges – and network across the entire value chain. A wide portfolio of paper-based release liners
Sappi offers an extensive portfolio of paper-based release liners for the self-adhesive industry, including glassine and CCK silicone base papers as well as face stock papers. And, looking at the future of release liners, the issue of sustainability is of great importance to us. We have not only established many environmental protection measures ourselves, we also aim to support our customers in achieving their sustainability goals. Last year, for example, we introduced the Sol BCK release liner, which can reduce the CO2 footprint by more than 50% compared to the frequently used PCK-based release liner. In 2024, we will continue to develop our high-quality release liners for our customers and optimise them even further.”
